A lot of people go into a cosmetic surgeon‘s office and request an eyelid lift procedure to correct an excess of skin that they have in their upper eyelids. Often the problem will actually lie within their brow and a forehead lift is the answer. For these patients, the brow itself has fallen which has resulted in a “bunching” of skin in the upper eyelid area. An aggressive removal of skin during an eyelid lift will typically pull the brow down even further which will just make the problem worse and possibly create a weary or tired appearance.
