Women with extremely large or sagging breasts can be both emotionally and physically uncomfortable. According to Dr. Placik, a Chicago plastic surgeon, these women are likely to suffer from neck and back pain, irritation under their breasts, and soreness where the straps of their bra cut into their shoulders. These women may also be self-conscious about their breast size. Another problem that these woman may suffer from is an inability to find attractive, properly fitting clothing; sometimes it will be required that they buy costly custom made clothing and support garments. For these women, a breast reduction may be necessary.
