Cosmetic Surgeons Often Choose To Perform An Excess Skin Removal After The New Position Is Established From A Forehead Lift Procedure
January 8, 2010
A forehead lift will set the eyebrows to a higher level and will stretch out the upper eyelid skin. A lot of the times, none of the skin will need to be removed, but if it does, many plastic surgeons choose to trim it later after the new brow position has been established. This is done so that the two procedures will not work against one another and eye closure will not become an issue. With a higher set eyebrow, patients will stop wrinkling their brows since there is no longer a need for conscious elevation.
